1 Are Hydrasoft Toric EW contacts good for people with astigmatism?
Yes, Coopervision Hydrasoft Toric EW contact lenses are specially designed to correct astigmatism up to 12.00 diopters. Each pair of contacts are custom made to ensure the perfect fit and design for your individual vision needs.
2 How long can I wear Hydrasoft Toric EW contact lenses?
If you are wearing Hydrasoft Toric EW contact lenses for the first time, Coopervision recommends that you begin with a 6 hour wearing period. You may add two hours each day, up until the 6th day of wearing, when you may wear them for all waking hours. If your eye doctor has approved you for extended wear (overnight) use, then you may wear your Hydrasoft Toric EW contacts for up to 7 days. On the 7th day you must remove the lense for proper cleaning and disinfection.
3 Can I wear Hydrasoft Toric EW contacts to sleep?
Because Hydrasfort Toric EW Contacts have been approved by the FDA for extended (overnight) wear, at the discretion of your optometrist, you may sleep in your for up to 7 days before removing them for cleaning and disinfection. Everyone’s eyes are different, and some people might not be able to tolerate overnight use. If you notice any discomfort or changes in vision after sleeping in your contacts, be sure to contact your eye care professional for advice.
